My kitten has a strange lump. Help!!!!?

I was playing with my kitten and discovered a lump inside her next to her shoulder. She has a vets appointment soon. What do i do?!!!?

Don't freak out, simply take her to your vet, it may be a tumour, it may just be a fatty lump, they will do a biopsy and be able to tell you asap. Good Luck!

You've already get an appointment, so that's the best thing you can do. Now just the waiting that will drive you insane.

Don't think the bad things ... I know it's hard not to right ... but you've got the vet appointment that's the best thing that you can do for now.

Hopefully it's nothing bad, and can be treated.

My 2nd oldest who is 12/13 yrs of age was just diagnosed in July 2008 w/ hyperthyroid, he's my baby even tho I have a younger cat.

Describe the nature of the 'lump'. Is it hard, soft, fluid? Where is it located in proximity to the shoulder (R or L). How old is the kitten, breed and gender?

she may have a tumor so check with the doctor  and see if shes ok or not
