My kitten has an upset tummy?

We rescued out little ball of fur a week ago. She was approx 3-4wks old. I have been feeding her Kitten Replacement since we got her according to the directions. I took her to our Vet last Thursday and he said she was doing great and keep up the good work. Yesterday morning when she woke up she acted like she was going to throw up. A small amount of bile came up but she seemed fine. She ate good yesterday and I did not think too much of it. This morning she did it again and has not been eating as she normally does. Since then she has done it 2 more times but nothing really comes up. Should I be concerned or is this normal with kittens?

  1. She probably isnt used to having so much food so shes adjusting and her bodies not used to so much.

Id consult a doctor in a few days.

  2. Please show her to the vet. No kittens should not throw up often. It may be nothing, but may be serious.

  3. Having that happen over and over is not normal.  Call your vet and see what he says.  And good luck with your new kitty cat!

  4. Call you vet just to be sure. Maybe it is the food that you are giving her, maybe it is her first hairballs. Maybe it is something more difficult for anyone other than a vet to diagnose. Good Luck with you Kitten, and it's great to hear that you took her in. It's always cool when people help animals that need it.
