    Please answer this question

    P.S. i dont know sorry :(

  2. go the vet and don't use anything in the store.  They can give you the medicine you put on the animals neck and back and it kills all the fleas...even the ones in the house.  AND YOU WANT THAT!  It is just a little vial and only a few drops and it is VERY GOOD!  I have three dogs and two cats and I need it too.

The other stuff is way too lame and weak.  I have tried it several times and the vet told me...it isn't the right strength.

So go to the vet..pay out some extra money and get three treatments (one perscription) and put that on once a month for three months and you will be rid of them.

  3. if hes atleast 6 months old get him frontline.

you put it on his back/shoulders and it lasts for month. it protects against fleas and a few types of ticks. its better than a flea collar because you only have to put it on him once a month.

  4. ditch the collar...they don't work.  take him to the vet and get flea medication.  you squeeze it under his fur right between the shoulder blades.  a bit greasy for a day or two at that spot but it goes away.  wash any bedding he might sleep on and put some borax (100 mule team, sold in most supermarkets) on the carpet and vacuum it up.  it'll take a little while to get rid of them all but it's not terribly difficult.

  5.   did you give him a flea bath?

It has to be shampoo for fleas, they will drop off in the next few hours or so...

  6. You can get some flea repellent free at www.earnforfreefromhome.tk

  7. Hi there, I'm 23 and have grown up with cats my whole life, once in awhile my cats have gotten fleas, the kittens now i have have not had them thankfully.  What we've done in the past is bath them good with shampoo, even if you have flea shampoo would work then as you say you have a flea collar..that should do the trick.

  8. Ok.Fist don't panic and second please don't buy it a anti-flea necklace.  The cat can get poison from the collar. Go to a veterinarian or maybe a pet shop and buy it a front-line plus it really works, I have one too and as soon I got it I saw a lot of fleas I wash her and then I starter the frontline plus treatment and she is cure without any fleas. Check the link below.

  9. You can buy Capstar and Frontline Plus here which will definitely kill all the fleas on your cat and prevent re-infestation.

Use the Capstar right away. It will kill all fleas on your cat with in an hour. It is imperative that you do not skip this. Frontline Plus is only effective if the flea bites the cat. Fleas have a 3 week lifespan and only feed for a few days of that three weeks, so you must use Capstar to kill all live fleas on your cat. After you capstar add on the Frontline Plus with in 12 hours and it will keep fleas off your cat for 30 days. No vet visit required and totally safe. Any eggs that hatch will be killed when they feed by the Frontline.

Frontline contains fipronil, which spreads via the body oils killing fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours. Ticks are generally killed before they bite, decreasing the risk of tick-borne disease transmission. Approved for use on kittens 8 weeks and older.

Frontline Plus also contains (S)-methoprene, an Insect Growth Regulator, which prevents an insect from maturing or reproducing. Approved for use on kittens 8 weeks and older.

You can use FRONTLINE flea and tick control once a month and it's completely waterproof. Provide your cat with the best flea and tick protection, right from the start.

Capstar - Treats flea infestations on pets. Starts killing adult fleas on the pet within 30 minutes. One dose lasts 24 hours. Use when pets are likely to be exposed to fleas. Also may be used prior to surgery, boarding, or grooming. Active ingredient is Nitenpyram, which interferes with the normal nerve transmission of insects, effectively killing them. Not a preventive. For pets over four weeks of age. Package of 6.

  10. look for front line or advantage.  You'll be able to get about 3 months worth for about $50.00 and you should be able to get it at a pet store.  If you buy it on-line, you'll be able to get a better price.

On Ebay you can find some great prices

Also, treat your carpets and yard for fleas (Homedepot should have products) - this will prevent re-infestation.

Also, avoid Hartz products (the drops not the other stuff) - there are a bunch of lawsuits last I heard and my sisters cats all had bad reactions.   Something about kidney failure (sorry, don't remember the specifics)

  11. go to a vet. they'll know what to do.

  12. Cats are kind of like dogs in this situation.

For the next few weeks, you should give him flea baths with special shampoo that will kill the fleas. You can usually find them at grocery stores or Walmart for around 5-8 dollars.

I would definitely brush him everyday to comb out the dead fleas.

    I would also try Petsmart.

They have flea treatment gels that you would put on his back, they usually work nicely. They should be about 12-20 dollars.

    Good luck.!

And just remember, you don't have to worry about him... a couple fleas never killed a cat.

  13. Go to the vet and get frontline drops. They are safe for kittens and THEY WORK!!!!! You only need to use it once a month and if she's indoors you will get rid of them for good. The package runs about $35 dollars for about 4 applications (I think 4)  Don't get the ones in the store cause they don't work and could harm the kitten. I tried the store ones and my kitten had a reaction and not with frontline.

You can also order them online with petmed maybe for cheaper

  14. um petsmart $5.00 any way buy frontline it works or give ur kitten a flea bath 12. 00

  15. The best thing to do is take him to the vet and get some flea treatment there. It is a monthly application and costs roughly $15 per treatment. The vet can give you the correct dosage for your little guy.

  16. Take the flea collar off of him! Flea collars can actually kill kittens. You can call the vet and ask them what to do without them charging you. They'll probably suggest a flea bath, because medication can be too strong for kittens, but get that flea collar off of him because it can make him seriously ill and even kill him. My friend's kitten died that way, and the vet told her to never put a flea collar on a kitten.

  17. Frontline plus works good on cats 8weeks and older. You can also bath in dawn dish soap then use a flea comb.

  18. yes my kitten had fleas and i went to the pet store and flea powder helps alot

the website is the one i used it works really good
