  1. well..question one would be is your kittne fixed?..if not that could be a reason...another would be that she likes the feel of the clothing...try a different litter..if that doesnt help..sometimes this could be the sign of a UTI..the best option is to just take her to the vet to make sure nothing is going on

  2. We had this problem with our kitten too, once they use a spot to go to the bathroom they will use it continuously because the sent is still there. Try and clean the places she has gone to the bathroom to remove the sent and if you catch her using these places as her litter box pick her up and put her in the litter box, it will help her understand that she should only use the litter box to poo and pee in . I hope this helps.

  3. do you clean it regularly? they don't like to go in a full box.

  4. She might be marking her territory. If you catch her doing this squirt her with a water bottle and then clean it up with natures miracle.

Oh and you should clean out the clumps every day, It helps keep the stink down.

  5. Ok - what she's doing is trying to mark areas that don't have her smell to say they are part of her territory.... what you need to do for a while is keep an eye on where she is and what she's doing when you're in the house with her ... as soon as she starts to crouch scoop her up and put her in the litter tray - use a stern voice when you do this saying something like 'No! Use your tray'.... when you're not in the house, and she is, make sure she is in one room only like the bathroom or kitchen or hallway - with her littertray - make sure you put some paper down as well .... she'll become accustomed to using the tray again .... for those areas she's already pee'd on - you will need to clean them thorough and get rid of her smell.... then spray them with something that smells strongly of citric - they don't like that .... perhaps you can put a throw on the couch and bed and pillows with this spray on .... she will learn that she doesn't like these areas and so will stay away from them......

  6. This is how I did it with one of my cats.

When you're home keep and eye on her and when you see her starting to go tell her "NO" and take her straight to the litterbox.

When you're sleeping or out put her in the bathroom with the litterbox and some water. Make sure you take the carpets/toilet covers out.

Cats don't like bare floors and it'll go in the litterbox. When you see no more trying to go on pillows and such you can test her by leaving her for short times without putting her in the bathroom.

    It worked for mine.

Also make sure you clean the spots she went on really good. Cat's will go where they went before, because they smell their scent. Go to a Pet Store or ask your Vet about a good product to eliminate the smell.

  7. Try having a couple of litterboxes. I had a lazy cat that just didn't want to walk to the other end of the house to go to the bathroom.

  8. it might be due to a dirty litter-box or maybe shes simply being defiant (this can happen if a cat isn't being given enough attention) she might be drinking a lot due to a urinary problem but i doubt it she might just be marking the house due to sexual maturity (this is possible as some cats go into heat/ sexual maturity early)...this usually only applies if shes not fixed...there might be another cat hanging around the house invading her territory and shes trying to mark it (shes a bit young to be doing this though) clea the areas really well with an enzymatic cleaner...and if you catch her in the act pick her up...scold her lightly and tap her nose VERY LIGHTLY, place her in her litter-box and reward her when she goes with lots of love and treats...also put her in her box at regular times and reward her when she goes and this should make her understand that this is the only place she is allowed to pee and p**p...a little reprimand and reward for good behavior...try it...good luck

  9. easy answer... its a kitten and you are giving her too much room

she needs to be kept in small  room
