My kitten is not acting normal today he is almost 5 months?

he is a long haired kitty... but he kept opening his mouth and putting his hands around his mouth like if he is trying to get something out of it... i checked but there's nothing inside of it. He is eating good and drinking water normally. Just never seen him doing this before, any ideas? like a hair ball or changing teeth? should I freak out? btw i brush him every 2 days.

just like humans animals have off days too but since you said your kitten is putting her hands nea her mouth she might have a hairball this happens with llong and short haired cats but the cat will expell this naturally.

bet he has a loose tooth.  Kittens and puppies lose thier baby teeth, just like human children do.
