My kitten is not ok :(?

hey everybody, well my kitten is not ok these days, she doesnt play, she just sleep in a corner,this evening she brought out somethings from her mouth (what she had eaten) and i saw a hookworm which was brown... and from this evening she eats noting and that has maken me worried. i have tried everything, but it doesnt work she doesnt eat drugs that i give her, she is not ok at all pls help me, i am confused, i really dont wana lose her. :(

Have you taken her to the vet?  This should have been the FIRST thing you did before anything else.

Take her to the VET..think if you had any type of worms....would you feel "good"? Please be responsible....all she needs is a short inexpensive trip to the vet.   GOOGLE hookworms and find out what they say there- it will tell you take the kitten to the vet. Pet owners must be responsible and treat a pet as a child.

Seeing as how everyone asks the Answers community for help when it comes to serious things with their pets I would like to say the vet is always there and he is definitely more knowledgeable than anyone here.

she needs the vets asap tonight rather than tomorrow as she isn't eating and won't take meds. the vets can show you how to give meds. hookworms or any other kind of worms need treatment  to get rid of them and only a vet can really give a correct diagnosis and treatment. PLEASE TAKE ASAP

i would try and get some advise from a vet but i shes quite an old cat she will sleep alot and eat less but i would really go see a vet and get some advise

thwe drugs you give her put it in her food bowl if its a liquid and if its a tablet crush it and put it into her food

if that doesn't work go to a VET!!

I know when you post a question on here your not looking for the same old "Take it to the vet answer". Your looking for someone who may have had the same experience and can help.

What it sounds like to me is that your poor kitten has worms. I can't say for sure cause you didn't mention if you got her as a stray or from a shelter. Anyway, worms can kill kittens. You can try to go to your local retail store and get some dewarmer. Follow directions on the bottle. The dewarmer will give your poor kitty the runs for several days but thats just because the medicine is killing the worms and the kittys body is ridding itself of the nasty parasites.

I've dealt with this many times as I've worked at Humane Society's for over 15 yrs. I also take in strays and nurse them back to health and then the Humane Society adopts them out. They have hospitals, doctors, and even nurses for sick animals called the veterinary and a veterinarian!  You should take her to one!!!

aw it sounds like your kitten is very upset.

have you tried feeling her nose to see if it's warm?

if it is she might have the "kitty flu"  lol

i would take her to the vet and have her checked over.

I'm assuming you've tried everything except taking her to the vet. If you haven't you need to get her there soon. If you have had her examined, call the vet with your concerns. They will be happy to answer your questions.
