  1. Your cat's on your roof and you're on yahoo answers???

  2. your sad kittens dont even have there eyes open at 2 weeks old and SHOULD NOT I REAPET NOT BE AWAY FROM THERE MUM!!!!! and plus you can tell you care for them leaving them blind and alone on the roof while coming on the computer and asking this stupid question online get a life and a grip and a phone and call the firefighters god your sooooooooooo stupid you shouldnt even have animals

  3. You best tell your parents.  That kitten's well-being is at stake.  Chose helping the kitten instead of saving your own skin.  Do the right thing!

  4. call firemen

  5. umm cats arent supposed to be away from their mother at two weeks old. so how on earth do you ahve this kitten, or is this a joke?

  6. hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

to weeks that cant be right

  7. get a big ladder or open a window and grab it and get it back through and encourage it with treats! and keep calling its name really nicly and do the kissy noise! hope it helps!

  8. Why did you get a 2 week old cat and how did it get on the roof???

  9. get a ladder quick go up on the roof and get it fast

  10. Cats love to do stuff like that.  Climb up things and then act like they can't get down on their own.

Truth is, they got themselves up there, they will eventually figure out a way back down.

I say put some food out and shake the bag so it knows the food is there.  Eventually it will get hungry and come down.

If you just can't ride it out then get a ladder.

If it's been up there more than 24 hours, you may want to call your local fire department, though it would be hard to keep that from your parents.

  11. I hope you won't be killed for the sins of your roof top kitten!

Don't panic.  Kittens are very capable climbers.  Some options I tried when faced with a similar situation:

    1) called the fire department ..they they do it in movies!

this was unsuccessful in my area.  I was told that 'they don't do that anymore'

    2) call your local animal service group...either gov or org..if you are unable to find one, try the nonemergency number for your police..if you live somewhere like Davis or Mayberry, your friendly officer will save the day!...just look in the blue or purple pages in your phone book... they have super  tools and technicians to retrieve your kitty or they might be able to refer you to someone who does.

    3) if you or a nearby friend or family member are fond of heights, and the kitty is near the edge of the roof, you could climb up and retrieve her yourself...have a buddy to hold the ladder steady and do do do be very careful!

4)wait.  when the kitty becomes hungry, she will miraculously come down and eat.  I know her meaows and cries sound so torured and hopeless....but she really is ok.

    5) when she does come down, deposit her and her fresh food, water, blanky, litter box and toys in a an escape proof space so she will stay put and you will stay alive!

    Good luck and happy birthday:)

  12. Grow up and tell your parents they have to know and they will help you and you shouldnt own a two week old kitten .. they need their mothers but hopefully you are feeding it a special formula... and how the h**l did it get on your roof!!? It should have been safe in your house.. you got this poor kitten into this mess and now you have to get it out.. its gonna die if you dont get it soon... just tell your parents they will know what to do

  13. WHAT IS YOUR 2 WEEK OLD KITTEN DOING OUTSIDE!

(do you mean a kitten you have had for 2 weeks?)

You or your brother or another friend has to go up on the roof and get the kitten.

It is too young to be outside. and it does not know what it is doing so you are going to have to take care of it.

stop typing on your computer and go help it!

  14. Go tell your parents!! Seriously- the kitten could get hurt really badly! If your kitten does get hurt, it will need to go to the vet or something and one way or another your parents WILL find out! Plus, it's not like it's your fault it's up there. So be responsible and go tell your parents!

    Good luck!

  15. A sticky wicket indeed.

But what of these parents of yours? Have they killed before? Could it be that evidence of their prior murders awaits a villigent police force that has surely heard your cries for help and are even as we speak heading right for the nearest Dunkin Donut Shop for a conference on world peace?

I'd get out the hose if your cat doesn't like being sprayed. And if you can, spray at where he is near so as to drive the critter back towards the place he got onto the roof, and have someone nab him, without getting onto the slippery roof or leaning out without a safety strap of heavy guage securely attatched to both the catcher on the spry and something that cannot go out the window ~ such as a bed that will not come appart and let the strap fly out the window without it ~, or overly damaging the rooms with overspray. Use very little water, don't wash kitty off the edge.

I once washed a kitty, but he didn't "go over the edge"...though he was a tad annoyed.

So I've no usefull information on the flight duration of the average youthfull housecat.

OR EVEN BETTER YET CALL FOR HELP FROM SOME PERSON THAT DOES NOT REFER TO HIMSELF AS A YAHOO's EXPERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

CAUSE I FELL OFF A BUILDING ONCE AND IT HURT ALLOT. AND KITTY ISN'T WORTH A BAD FALL, OR A HOSPITAL BILL (CAUSE THEN YOUR PARENT'S INSURANCE COMPANY MIGHT DO YOU IN FOR REAL, FINANCIALLY?)!
