  1. AWwWw!!! They are so cute together! Its perfectly natural for the kitten to be doing that since it is just a kitten and doesn't have her own mother anymore. Whenever she tries to do it, take her away from the older cat and put a bowl of water in front of her. This will show her that the older cat  is not supposed to be her source of milk and that she needs to learn to drink water instead.

    Good Luck =]

  2. I have a kitten who does that too.  They usually do it if they were separated from mom too early (ours was found alone at 5 weeks old).  He tries to nurse on our girl cat and the one male who lets him try.  They don't mind so it doesn't hurt anything and it provides comfort for the kitten (nursing is for both food and comfort).  I don't see any harm in allowing it.  We had a kitten before who did the same thing and he gave it up around 14-15 weeks old (he's actually the male who lets the new kitten nurse on him).  The kitten should give it up eventually or the other cat will get annoyed by it and make the kitten stop, either way is fine and normal.

    They're both very cute.
