  1. it's not the poisonous aspect you should worry about..  nor is it something that is guaranteed to be "okay"..  WATCH the cat carefully.. any sign of discomfort, blockage, attempts at throwing up that are unsuccessful, go to the vet..   LOTS of animals die from swallowing things like balloons/gloves/plastic bags..  it can get lodged in the intestines and needs surgery to come out.. (even the surgery success rate varies... if you get it in soon enough it is fairly easy, if you wait, it's just as likely to die during surgery)

I'm not trying to panic you, but watch..    (there are a fair number that will pass it naturally, but there is never a guarantee)

  2. if you have the box read it or call the poison control #

    i hope this helps

    :)

i hope your kitty will be ok

  3. i really wouldn't worry about the toxicity of it moreso  about it clogging up the system

  4. you should call some kind of poision control just to be on the safe side.  or a vet. i dont think that is good at all for your kitten to have done that.

  5. I think it's safe. It will probably puke it out or p**p it out later. My cat ate a latex condom once and puked it out and it was fine. haha

  6. dont ask random people you dont know! just call a d**n vet for gods sake! times a wastin'.

  7. No it's fine give it the other half.

  9. It might get caught in your kitties intestines.  My cat who is 2 now eats absolutely anything from carpet fibers, bugs, toilet paper, newspapers, my pajamas, blankets, curtains, etc.... anything he can get in his mouth.  My cat does have nine lives!

He usually becomes sick and starts to try to always Heave.  I have taken him to the vet so many times.  He is so limited to where he can go in the house now.  Now whenever he does eat something and starts making the noise, I have to give him a kitty laxative which is also a gel to help with fur balls.

My suggestion for you and your kitty is to take him to the vet.  Since it is at night, call the ER vet in your area and get their opinion.  Things like rubber bands or pony tail holders can twist the intestines and cause some serious problems.  I pray your kitty is well and has no ill effects from this and does not become like my kitty.
