  1. 102 is a normal temperature for a cat. So at 104 its not as high as it sounds. When they get shots they can show symptoms of whatever they are getting vaccinated against. (just like how people feel a little under the weather from a flu shot) That is normal. As long as your cat is not in a stupor, unresponsive, has any facial swelling, or is vomiting, i would just keep an eye on it. It will probably just sleep it off tonight. If you do notice any of those other signs, I would get it to the ER right away.

  2. I would say a life is worth what that ER vet charges,

  3. I had a cat die after getting her first vaccinations. Call the ER and talk to them. They will answer your questions.  If you can't take him to the ER take him to your vet in the morning.

  4. Wrap him in a wet towel soaked in warm water for up to 5 minutes or as long as he will let you. Check him every few hours and repeat as needed. Take him to the Vet first thing in the morning is he isn't better.
