My kitten obsessively licks his paws! HELP

Question

My little boy kitten, Ziggy, is always sucking or l*****g in between his paws. It gets to a point where they always feel wet! There isn't anything caught in the area, no fleas at all, no litter stuck. I can't figure it out but it drives me CRAZY. The noise practically wakes me up every night. He is 12 weeks old and very content, has lots of play things, and gets lots of lovin' from myself and my roommate. Thoughts? Suggestions?

It sounds like your cat has an allergy to something. My cat did the same thing and then I took him to the vet and they told me that is what he had.

but only wen he slept he would hav is wittle paw in his mouth!! it was cute!! lol maybe ziggy will grow out of it or maybe he does hav sumthin stuck way in there or maybe it just itches!!

Some cats get OCD. I have kittens like this. They do it for the same reasons small children suck theirs fingers it is comforting. Most of them out grow it some just go on to bigger fingers. MY cat Varmit sucked on my thumb most of his life. It was part of his night time going to bed ritual. I didn't mind. If this is his only bad habit don't worry.

I think maybe he has some sort of infection you cant see. Or maybe he has some sort of a claw problem. I would go to a vet and ask or maybe just let him be for a while. It might go away soon!
