My kitten sneezes a lot?

He is 3 months old. I've a kittens a few times over the years but never seen one sneeze as often and hard as this little guy. He can be sitting on the floor, a couple of feet away and I'll still feel his sneeze on my leg. He's got all his shots but wasn't tested for feline leukemia. I don't think sneezing is a sign of that though. I'm just wondering if I should be concerned or not? My dog and I have allergies, but they always act up at the same time. Kitten is sneezing when we aren't. Any experience with this, and suggestions? I gave him a dose of benadryl this morning and he did stop sneezing, but he also kept drooling and trying to spit it out. And before any one goes nuts that I gave him benadryl you should know I did so with a baby medicine syringe and at the proper dosage for his weight. I have to do this with my dog periodically too, and the vet already told me that this was okay to do.

  1. it could be a cold.. if you gave her catnip that just might be it. my cat will sneeze 10-20 times in a row without stoping when we give her catnip

  2. Benadryl is safe if you know the dosage.  My cat Willie has allergies and I give him Temeril from the vet.  I like it better because he doesn't foam at the mouth like he does with Benadryl. I also use an air purifier for him which helps alot. I would have him checked by the vet just to rule out URI or anything. Ask about the Temeril.  I think you'll like it better too.

  3. just look at this site:http://www.healthypet.com/faq_view.aspx?...
