I've tried everything that i've found and it doesn't seem to work. I had someone suggest that she would calm down once she's fixed is that true? She keeps me up all night biting my face. I love her but this biting needs to stop! You can't even pet her without her biting you now.

  1. she is a baby she will grow out of it but fixing helps a little they still will be crazy when they are older but not as much

  2. Yeah, it's true that once she's fixed that she'll more than likely settle down.  Some even get down right lazy!  :)  Cats are nocturnal creatures though, so eventhough you get her fixed she still may have the urge to sleep during the day and play at night.  You can try to get her on your schedule though by keeping her up throughout the day.  Try playing with her with her toys or find other ways to keep her busy and active through the day so she'll be tired by the time you go to bed.  She'll eventually adhere to your schedule.

  3. i just got a new kitten and she does the same thing

    cats sleep a lott!

so your kitten is probably sleeping during the day and is wide awake at night

i try to keep my kitten awake as much as i can in the day so she will sleep at night

sometimes im gone all day thought so shes wide awake at night

but its just something ill have to deal with

they will grow out of it though

  4. Use a spray bottle every time she bites you. I had a cat like this once and the spray bottle worked really well. I also talk to my vet about it and he said when there tail sways from side to side that its a sign for them to attach and to move out of the way quickly and it help out alot. She did not stop until she was over a year and finally she calmed down. It just takes time and patience but she finally stopped biting. Good luck

  5. All the other answers are good.  You could also look at a product called Feliway or Comfort Zone.  These emit pheromones that actually help provide relaxation and calming sense

  6. like you said she`s a kitten not a full grown cat.she properly does this because she isn`t sure about you yet.but if she bites you don`t give

what she wants i know it`s hard but if you give her what she wants that's just teaching her she can get what she wants by biting. if she still continues she might need a toy to bit. but if this still doesn` t

work you will have to train her. but what ever you do don`t hit her.

but if all of this doesn`t work she will properly calm down soon tom my cat always bit people now u can burst in as va complete stranger and he will love you. hope this helps

  7. How about just allowing it to be a kitten, there is nothing you can do except allow it to be a kitten and play with it.  It will calm down when nature allows it to.
