My kittens eyes......

Question

after my kitten wakes up, her eyes are pink, but it goes away after about 10 minutes...is this normal?

this may be a crazy question, i've just never seen a kitten's eyes do this.

If there is no discharge or swelling in the eyes, It's probably ok. If your kitten hasn't been to the vet for shots and worming, bring her and mention it to the vet.

It is normal. It is just like how some of us humans eyes are pink when we wake up. (mine are) They are just a little irritated from sleeping, if it goes away right away she is fine. If you are trully worried about it or her eyes stay red for a long period of time (days) then I would bring it up the next Vet visit! Your a good kitty mommy for worrying though! It is normal though! :)
