I know I need new shoes. I just can't afford new shoes just at this moment. Maybe even Yoga poses.

  1. Do some leg raises with weights to strengthen you knees. Add ice packs. Visit a orthopedic doctor to check out what your problem is.  He probably could suggest what the right thing to do is. You don't want to aggravate a problem.

  2. Bad shoes would affect your ankle and feet, not your knees.

Worn shoes shouldn't really affect anything if they still fit well.

High heels can kill your feet, knees, back, posture, and in general are torture for the female body.

If you really have knee pain, and it's persistent, see your orthopedist. He'll take x-rays, and may even request an MRI. Ones that's done, you'll have a definitive diagnosis.

  3. The stretches would depend on the type of knee pain.

    Where is it hurting?

If you do the wrong stretch, you could do more damage.

  4. Are you sure that your shoes are the cause of the pain? If you are can you wear slippers or something else while you are at home? Have you consulted a doctor? Do you have arthritis? If it is an arthritic problem there are a couple of natural supplements that can be helpful at www.shaklee.net/healtysolutionsunltd

Click on Nutrition and then on the next page scroll down and click on Joint health. You can also e mail or call me. If you can tell me more of the specifics on your knee problem I would be able to help you more.

  5. Ice packs!!!

Also you can put your toes against a wall and puch down on your knee
