My knuckles are broken im pretty sure help?

a month ago i had an arguement with somebody and i hit a garbage dump which is metal and big 3 times really hard and my knuckles got swollen the next day. a month was not enough for recovery time as i can feel the pain when i move it certain way or put pressure on it or hit something with it it hurts real bad!! i think my knuckles are broken bu ti dont plan on going to the doctors because im pretty sure knuckles can be healed on its own. is this true?

They may heal on their own, but it will heal wrong. Your hand will be forever deformed if that happens. About the cost of x-ray's, I don't know where you live, here in Canada its free, but I'm sure if you live in the states it varies by state.

No  they will not heal on their own they have to be checked for hairline fractures.Go to the emergency room where you can get them checked for your sake before some callus grows and your knuckles will never heal.They are producing pus in them that's why you can't see them.
