My kodak easyshare MD853 digital

Question

my kodak easyshare MD853 digital 8.2 camera has some problems.. When I turn it on it says: lens error message 122,1,0,0 and the zoom will not retract back into the turn off position.. I called Kodak & it's still under warranty however they say if it's something that not under warranty they will charge me anyway... I bought insurance through Target as well & they referred me to kodak. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix my camera?
