I moved into an apartment on May first. I was pregnant and due in 6 weeks. I moved in with my 10 year old son and myself. The landlord told me that he worked far and lived out of the area and believed in respecting the tenants privacy. On June 1 another unit became available and he started repairs immediately. At first he would arrive at 7:00 pm and leave at 10:30, he was quiet and I didn't notice. After having the baby lots of my friends started to come around and I also manage a band, so they'd come by everyday. He started lurking around and staying later and later, he even comes on Saturday and Sunday. Once he questioned why I had "male" friends over at 3:00 am? He has been harassing me and making loud noises in the middle of the night. Last night he arrived at 9:45 pm and started banging on the wall adjacent to my sons room. Currently it is 6:00pm Sunday, Los Angeles, and he is making loud power tool noise. 2 days ago he had my car towed because it's not the one I had when I applied for the apartment. I have had it since the second day I moved in and it has been parked in my assigned, non-permit required spot everyday and he never said anything about it before. There's only 4 units and I think there are several health and safety code violations. what do I do?
