My landlord sent me a certified letter, however I am not able to pick it up until monday. What could it be for

I got a notice from the post office saying I have a certified letter that I can pick up from my landlord. Since it is a Saturday and I was at work when it came I am not going to be able to get it until Monday. It has me a little freaked out. What could it be about? My rent has only been late once by 1 week. My dog did apparently bite the neighbor the other day when my roommate had her outside. Any advice????

Sounds like she's wanting the money that's owed for back rent. Guess you'll just have to wait & see what happens Monday when you actually get the letter!

ther's know real way of knowing,but what ever it is,it's probally pretty importatnt,or she would not be having the letter sent to you in that manner.

Dog bite, bounced check.... sounds like it might be a termination of the lease.

When you say your roommate's rent check bounced, do you guys have separate leases, or are you both equally responsible?

The dog bite would be enough for me to evict.  That's something he could be held responsible for and I'm not going to lose MY house for anyone's dog.
