My laptop's charger/power line gets so hot?

I just bought this laptop two days ago and whenever I plug it in the power, after couple minutes the charger itselfs gets hot, is it something normal? why is that happening? Thanks you for your answers.

yea my adapter gets hot too.  maybe if it eventually burns out grab a different one on ebay.  or check this site below.

Firstly sit it on its edge rather than lying it flat (and not on carpet or fabric), then more of the area is exposed to the air. Also put it on something metal to conduct the heat from it.

If it is still getting hot, it might be faulty, you can get it changed.
