  1. Did you try rebooting your D-Link router?

  2. several things can be happening here is a few,

a virus (one from a search bar) when you delete the bar program your PC no longer connects to the web, ( personal exp)

other one, I have cable and the Ethernet cable blocks 9/10 of the sites and i can't connect to the pages , that was bad, Microsoft was not one of the pages but flash and other downloads i needed to use to set up a new install, didn't work at all.

change the cable connection it worked fine.

Also check your firewall as stated before and your anti virus' can also be blocking it, (trend Housecall did it on one I used before)

if all else fails call your tech from the ISP provider, they can walk you through troubleshooting the system and your connection, for free! :P have a great day and good luck.

  3. Do you have a firewall blocking the software you are using to browse? It sounds like you have connectivity and everything is fine on the lower layers so it sounds like it resides in the upper application layer.
