My laptop cannot connect to my linksys router, need to update driver?

My laptop HP ze4800 cannot connect to my linksys wireless router WRT150N. My laptop picks up the signal, and I have downloaded the linksys software, but I think my driver is out of date? Please help!

shut down the computer and router with the broadband device(modem or any} then turn on the modem then router then pc to refresh the ip addresses

if still not turn off the firewalls of windows and antivirus

if not there must be some issue with your system such as protocols

or the internet supplier is not working on linksys

I had similar problem try resetting you cable/phone modem then hook up router. also if you have the all in one cabletv,

internet, and phone modem it just would not work till I got just internet modem. If all fails call you internet provider.

Here is a workaround that may work.

Disabale your wireless adapter then enable it.
