  1. That's the single most common failure in laptops.  The laptop is working, the charger is working, but the connection between the power jack (where you plug the charger into the laptop) and the motherboard (in the laptop) is bad.  (and every time you plug the charger in, you're making a few sparks on the motherboard, possibly damaging it further.)

If the laptop is still in warranty the manufacturer will probably give you a new one - that's cheaper for them than replacing the motherboard in yours.  If not, search the web for places that repair that problem (there are loads of them) and decide whether it's worth spending between $100 and $200 on that laptop.  (Probably "yes" if it's fairly new and not a cheapie, "no" if not.)

  2. Common problem is the AC port on the motherboard

  3. Nope its not the laptop.

    Its not the charger.

Its the charger wire or the connection between the charger and the laptop. It might be damaged.

  4. What kind of laptop is it?

  5. If the light on the adapter turns off when connected to the computer then its the Motherboard which has gone bad. If the light on the adapter stays on when connected to the computer. Its the ac-adapter that has gone bad.

  6. i think its the connector between the charger and ur laptop could be loose thats all so double check every thing. that every thing is tight and in place connected . + another way to see if its working if ur willing to try it is put the end of the charger where it goes in to the laptop on ur tongue  u well feel a slight tingle and copper taste. zz ahh i just tried it yes its safe and working fine .

and there could be dirt inside the laptop socket that could seal conductivety in ur laptop plug if so use a tooth pick to remove.

hope i was helpfull but everyone try the charger cable zzz hahaha really fun ;0*
