My laptop has a red line down the screen...?

...it's about 2-3 inches from the right, and it only disappears when the screen is in a certain position. Its a really thin line, but my mom is getting really annoyed and my computer privileges are at risk. It's an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC. It has Vista. What is causing this and how can I fix it? Thanks!!!

Yes do this send your notebook in for repair

i just got mine repaired 3 times and the last time i got a case manager and my new computer which i got today is soo kool its got fingerprint reader , special edition notebook, bluetooth

Defective screen. End of story. If is in on warranty, change it know or live with it.
