Below are links to free online Antivirus scanners. They may require that you install an ActiveX component and / or disable your current Antivirus program. These are trusted sites. Avoid any other online or general PC usage whilst running these scans.

Click here to go to the Kaspersky Online Virus Scanner page :http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

Very comprehensive scan. Will produce a report. Malware removal not supported.

Click here to go to BitDefender Online Scanner location:

    http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html

    Scans and attempts Malware removal

        Step 3

        Prepare a HijackThis (HJT) logfile

If you find that you still need assistance in malware removal or suspect malware is still active on your pc, you can prepare a HJT log for review.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: HJT logs are NOT permitted on www.computing.net without prior request. Any HJT submission without prior approval may result in the post or entire thread being removed.

        Download HijackThis to your desktop

Click here to download the HiJackthis installer:

    http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/...

        1. Save " HJTInstall.exe" to your desktop.

        2. Double click on HJTInstall.exe to run the program.

        3. By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.

        4. Accept the license agreement by clicking the "I Accept" button.

        5. Click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.

        6. Once the scan is complete a notepad document will appear on the desktop.

        7. Copy and paste the contents of the entire Hijackthis Log log back here in your next reply.

        8. Do NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet! Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

  5. hold down f10 while your computer powers up this should start a reformat process and remove the virus.

then get an avg installed and activated.avg that is not activated does you no good.

  6. try downloading AVG antivirus, it's one of the best for trojans.

before scanning, go to control panel, folder settings and show hidden files, show extensions (.exe etc), show system files.

this may help the antivirus recognize viruses.

also after scanning go to run and type "%TEMP%" and delete everything, and also empty out your temp folder in "c/user/you/local/temp" or something like that.

  7. I agree with the first two respondents.  You need to download a free antivirus and scan your laptop.  The antivirus program you have is totally useless unless it's activated.  Since you don't have the key for activation just remove it from  your computer, preferably before downloading AVG or Avast.

Learn from this.  NEVER, NEVER log onto the internet if you have no antivirus program running!  It can be devastating, as you have discovered.

  8. Geez Thats Harsh Download Mcafee Or Buy It And Scan Your Computer And It Will Delete All Your Virus

  9. wipe ur laptop, or use a recovery partition if you have one etc
