My laptop is connected to a local network at an institution and it keeps shutting do- its a simple hacker?

There are guys here that do some basic hacking!! They tried the remote assistance bit but this is different. How can I stop this? I have Zone Alarm and AVG.....

  1. Your Intranet or DMZ might not allow laptop connection because it's been configured that way by the system administrator.

    A lot of commercial LAN's prohibit laptops because they are so easily infected because they are portable.
