My laptop is due to arrive on September 11 and I need you help?

Go here and look at the system requirements.

Processor: Intel (r) core (tm) duo processor t5750 (2.0 GHz 2mb cache, 667 mhz fsb)

OS: Latest version of Windows XP

Memory: 2gb (2x 1024mb) 667 mhz dual channel ddr2 sdram

Video Card: Intel (r) integrated graphics media accelerator x3100

Hard Drive: 160 gb sata hard drive

Would this laptop be able to play Sims 2 Free Time? Remember link up the top for system requirements. Would the game run fluently or choppy? Thanks very much for reading and answering.

PS... Don't suggest going to "can you run it" websites because I have not got the laptop yet.

:Yes your laptop will be able to run it, The slowest thing on there is the x3100, but it will not go that slow.

Expect it to run fluid on medium or so.

hmmm its going to be a bit glitchy in places as you'll need to assign a largish portion of your operating ram to the video card, apart from having to use  some of the ram as graphics memory shared memory type graphics are slower than the dedicated memory type

looks like you meet the minimum processor spec, and excel on the graphics spec, HDD and the RAM, so you should be ok!

requirements for sims 2 free time

1.3 Ghz processor (2.0 for Vista)

512 MB RAM (1GB for Vista)

Windows(R) Vista, Windows XP, Windows ME, Windows 98 or Windows 2000 Operating System.

8x or faster CD/DVD drive

At least 1.5 GB of additional hard drive space (5.0 GB total is required if installing both The Sims 2 and The Sims 2 Bon Voyage Expansion Pack at the same time.)

A T&L-capable video card with at least 32 MB of video RAM.

The ram size is very good so you will have no problems with imaging related programs.
