My laptop is very hot

my laptop P6860FX make the shutdown when it's hot and your performance
is bad... i dont know why... sometimes the videogames are slowly and
stop...its chip of video Nvidia GeForce 8800M GTS also put so hot and the air too...I dont know what I can do it
