As it turns itself to restart a blue screen appears with a lot of text but it disappears quickly so I can't read it.

  1. Is there anything that pops up before it shutdowns? Like a system message saying that it is going on Automatic Shutdown?  If yes, then probably you want to upgrade your windows.  If it only shutdowns directly and as you've said there are no viruses, it could be that your battery pack needs replacement.

  2. make sure the fan area has circulation and it might be overheated so leave it for a while

  3. thats what happend to mine!!! i din't know what was wrong with so i tuk it bak to the shops they gave me a new 1 because i had a 5 years garantee :D you could return it 2 but if U havn't got a garantee then take it to the repair shop..

  4. Could be overheating.  Run on battery only - or take the battery out and run just off the charger - see if that helps.

  5. Goto safe mode and enter 'mrt' into the run commands and scan for malware with windows malware removal tool

  6. run it whilst it is plugged in.

    good luck........

  7. I had to fix a laptop with the same problem and i noticed that in was overheating, all i done is i used a airgun and cleaned the air vents and the problem was solved. Now i'm not saying you have the same problem but it's a shot

  8. 1. Over heating & shutting off

    2. there called be a power/battery issue (try a new batery).

  9. It sounds like you have a run time problem, see a microsoft engineer.

  10. Does it shut down when the charger is plugged in?  It may be just the battery either overheating or dying on you.

  11. there's an option somewhere in there that says....shut down after 20 minutes or never shut down but I can't for the life of me think where it is....probably control panel.

I did it for my daughter [I have a PC] some months ago and hers doesn't shut down at all now.

I think the option is there so that if you are using it on battery and you forget it's on, it shuts down to save the battery flattening.

It could also be your wireless router, if you've got one, it could be faulty.

If you use it on someone elses wireless connection, say a naighbours [which is illegal] it will shut down if they turn off their router

  12. BATTERY PROBLEM...mine had the exact same thing and wen i got a new one it stopped immediatly

  13. if its shutting down its probably overheating and needs blown out. get a can of compressed air from an office supply store and blow the vents out. if its restarting your probably getting blue screen errors which is usually a corrupt file in windows and you will need to put your windows disk in and do a repair

  14. if its not viruses then you might have to change your battery if its too old. my laptop kept shutting down even when i had the charger

  15. Are you sure it is not your Power Saving settings?  Control Panel from the Start menu - check your Power Saver settings.

  16. it could be over heating or there could be something wrong with the mother baord my laptop used to do that all the time then it broke coz the mother board was broken ******* fjistu is a c**p compony never again get it sent to be repaired other wise it could brake hope this helps good luck
