  1. mine does that too every time it happens pop the keys out gently not too fast and place them in the right way ...a laptop nothing will happen to the keys

  2. here you go...

    1) try to restart your laptop

    2) if still occured, try to uninstall and then install your OS again.

    3) the last chance, maybe your keyboard is damaged. service it, maybe can help. or buy a new one keyboard.

  3. Copied SPACES...that is just genius.

    Anyway, most laptop keys come off by wedging a small s***w driver under the key and pushing it upward. BUT then again , laptops models are different. Although this might work with DELL may not work with other brands. The best thing is to take it to a computer repair shop nearby.

    OR YOU CAN GET A USB KEYBOARD.

    You can also remap space to another key, but this takes a lot of effort

    OR you can use the windows xp built in onscreen keyboard to give space with a mouse click.

    Display the Start menu by pressing CTRL+ESC (or the Windows logo key Windows logo key).

        * Move to All Programs by pressing P.

        * If it does not open automatically, press ENTER to open the All Programs menu.

        * Move to Accessories by pressing the DOWN ARROW key.

        * Press ENTER.

        * Select Accessibility by pressing ENTER.

        * Move to On–Screen Keyboard by pressing the DOWN ARROW key.

        * Press ENTER.
