Question:

My laptop light changing.?

My laptop is plugged in all the time sometimes when I look at the power lights the far right which is a greenish yellow turns to a orange color.

Someone told me it is on battery power. This doesn't make sense to me when the computer is always plugged in. Anyone have a clue. It doesn't do this all the time maybe once every couple of months.

  1. No, what they told you is not true. On my laptop which I'm using right now, the lights tell whether the battery is fully charged or not. Mine turns green when it is 100% full and orange when it is 1% to 99% charged. It is always green when using it on battery. As for your once a couple of months issue, it is probably "once a month," cause your laptop battery is not full and is charging. This is assuming you have it plugged in most of the time. This is how it is like on my Acer and IBM/Lenovo laptops. So does this make more sense?
