My laptop screen keeps falling down or forward?

It will not stay up. I have to either hold it or prop it up against something. Is there something I can do to fix it?

This is a common problem with laptops, to fix it properly you will need to replace the hinge, this also means changing the frame around the screen, and is not a small job.  If you no longer need to transport it, you can glue the hinge open.  I know this is not a good answer, but other than that,  you are looking at jamming chunks of paper in the hinge to keep it up.  Sorry
