My laptop was picking up my wireless card but now it's not.Is it my harddrive that's going bad the probelm? ?

did u re install windows? if yes, then you should find the driver for your wireless card. sometimes computers will not recognize which hardware is that. try downloading its driver.

If not then there is some problem with the hardware connection.

It could be the drivers have become corrupted.  Try reinstalling the drivers (or get updated drivers from company website) to see if your system will pick it up again.

Is it that your laptop no longer recognizes its internal wireless adapter?  Check if the wireless switch is in the off position.

Is it that your laptop can't access your wireless network?  Maybe you need to choose the network.

Neither of these have anything to do with your hard drive.
