  1. Find a hard disk bay and plug it into a different computer via USB. Copy all your iTunes songs to your new PC and reinstall itunes. It should automatically detect all the songs and all you will need to do is enter the credentials if you purchased the songs off of iTunes store.

(A Hard Disk Bay (or Hard Drive Dock) is a converter to plug a laptop hard drive into a USB port on another computer for file transfers.)

  2. Log into your ITunes account and deactivate your old computer and activate the new one.

If can transfer your music from your other computer via a cable--IDE or external Hard Drive case-- (if the hard drive isn't what is broke on your old computer) then you will have any music you purchased.  Unfortunately if you lost your music (hard drive crashed) you can not redownload it for free.

  3. itune blocks this function since itune is the tool with one way to transfer files from itune to ipod. you must utilize other tools to achieve that. There're couple of tools for transferring the files between ipod and computer (for backup)depends on your demands, e.g transfer only songs/videos, transfer photos etc. You can have a look of below review site, hope it useful.
