Question:

My laptop won't connect with wireless capability. Help!?

Okay. Well, I have a " Gateway T- 6815" I've had it since September 5th last year" The wireless capability was working yesterday untill 2 o' clock. The switch is on " But the wireless sign isn't on. Right now i have it connect to the USB. I have another laptop that my sister uses her internet's working perfectly fine. My computer doesn't connect to any networks.

My local connection is working right now. but my wireless connection say's it's not connected. PLEASE HELP! I need this computer!

  2. Something like this happened to me and, I think if I'm understanding you correctly, I know what's wrong.  I also have a Gateway but the button you need may be on a different key.

    On my F2 key there is an Fn button (the blue ones that work like the Shift keys but with the Fn button) that is a radio signal (it looks like a dot with three parentheses on either side).  Is that button activated?  There should be an identical light somewhere on your computer that looks like it; check if that's on.  If not, this may be your problem.  Simply hold your Fn key and press the button; this will activate your radio/wireless signal and you should pick you your router.
