My laptop won't display battery time remaining?

I have vista home basic. It tells me the percentage, but not the time. Is there any free program or update that can fix this?

The time varies according the task.If you are watching a movie or play a game it will go a lot faster.A software can't predict what you'll do.

Well somtimes its hard to predict the time because of all the varibles like how many programs you have open and stuff

if possible keep your laptop plugged in, you battey will last a lot longer

i guess it only shoes the percentage from the beginning !!

in vista sidebar u could download a gadget called 'istat battery' it tells u the percentage and time i use it and love it oh also try right clickin it and seeing if it it will do it if u go into power options.
