1. Typically a laptop is near room temperature when first turned on. As the laptop continues to run, the temperature increases, and eventually the fans start and decrease the laptop's temperature. As the fans continue to run, the temperature slowly will increase, but will only reach its maximum temperature after 1-2 hours. For a laptop, or notebook computer, this is very normal. Many users actually have noticed this increase in temperature, especially during heavy gaming or work sessions. You can go in for a laptop stand which dissipates the heat generated.

  2. maybe it needs a new fan? or is your ventilation undeneath your laptop? and for the first thing maybe u have a virus

  3. Laptops do have a tendency to heat up. It varies from one model to another. First try to blow out the fan area or the exhaust area. It gets clogged with dust at times. Use one of those computer compressed air cans. You can also buy a laptop cooler. It's a flat plate about 2 cm thick on which the laptop sits and it has fans inside.

    Hope this helps.

  4. When my laptop was a year old, it started over heating. Mine had a clogged fan and vent.

To fix it, I opened up the case on the bottom of my computer. It is a little cover that is held in place by one or two screws, and is located near the fan and the vents. Inside there was a metal area that the fan pushes air through to cool it. It was clogged full of cat hair and dust (I have two cats).

I picked out the clumps, and replaced the cover. Afterwards everything was fine. As soon as I turned on the computer, I noticed how much quieter the fan was because it no longer had the resistance of pushing the air through the clogged vents.

    Hope that helps!
