My laptop wont connect to my linksys wireless router, help?!?

My laptop has a WiFi, when I press refresh it says "No wireless networks were found in range. Make sure the wireless switch on your computer is on. To see an updated list, click "Refresh network list".

My Linksys router model is WRT310N

it's telling you to turn on the wifi on your laptop that's why you can't find any wireless routers

make sure you have the wiress turned on on the router, go to the router setup and make sure you have broadcast set to on, and if your laptop itself has an on off button for the wifi make sure thats turned on also
