My laptops speakers are too quiet. whats wrong? ?

i have a acer taptop that is farely new. it has built in speakers with dolby home theater surround sound. my problem is that no matter what i do they are always too quiet. all my volumes ( even the ones in the media players ) are turned up all the way. do you have any suggestions as how to let them to be louder??

Most laptops aren't designed to have really loud speakers. I'd suggest getting a good pair of earphones.

If you artificially boost the volume on your laptop, you risk ruining the speakers.
