Your last name is not Polish, I have never heard it or even something close to it.

I guess some of your ancestors changed their real last name. Try to find out the real one and then it will be much easier I guess.

Polish web site ? Try looking up some relatives, find a Polish person and ask them if they can direct you......in right direction.

Sadgavage is definitely not a Polish name at all. However, I can imagine that maybe your ancestors had a Polish name which was hard to say for people who are not Polish and therefore they changed it a little... Sadziewicz? Sadkiewicz?  Sadowski?

There are many possibilities, try to find out what the real name was before it was changed.
