My last position ended poorly. I enjoyed the work I did and tried to develop a good work relationship ...?

with my co-workers, but I was not successful. I am starting a new position in a few weeks. How would you suggest that I begin so that things remain positive throughout my tenure? I continue to search myself to see how I contributed to the demise of the work relationship. Any ideas of how I can improve on how I monitor how I do things? I am competent and confident and have been in my profession over 20 years. This happened once before when I worked under similar supervision. Otherwise, it has never happened before and I have received awesome professional evaluations.

You don't give us much information to work with. Can you tell us exactly how things "ended poorly." And, what do you mean by "similar supervison"?
