My lebanese friend wants plastic surgery:(?

Im trying to convince her not to be a typical lebanese and do what most girls in her country are doing and stay natural but she wont listen. She said she wants to look like a barbie doll so men can admire her. Sighhhh:( what am i going to do with this gal.

Im trying to teach her about the heart, soul, empathy, kindness, warmth but all she sees is plastic surgery. Heck they even got loans over there for that dont? Thats what i heard.

Bro its good that you are trying to watch out for her and look out for her by giving her advice. But their is only so much you can do, so if she ends going with it, you in turn have to be supportive of her because thats what friends do. Stay away from doing the opposite.

_let her watch opera (the barbie doll who couldn't stop having plastic surgery and got addicted even though she knew it could cost her her life  as her nose was growing smaller).

_Show her how many men HATE fake girls (plastic surgery)

but in the end it's her choice.....

just do what u can to emphasize that it is not just looks that matters, that men will respect u more if they see u as somethign more than a toy or an object to fulfil their sexual desires. she shouldnt want men looking at her like that but to look at her and judge her for her kindness and character

or u can remind her that these things sometimes can go bad, and she could end up leaving the place looking worse than before, like the elephant man or something

you can wanr ur friend, if she doesnt listen there is nothing u can do but pray for her and just stand by her and support her decision, because its her choice and if she makes the wrong one it is not ur fault

tell her plastic surgeru is like wearing 6 tonnes of make up it is useless and un natural most guys lie yo for who u r not what you look like. plastic surgery can go wrong and u end up worse then you see yourself now so tell your friend dont be silly

No idea about loans for plastic surgery.

Do you watch movie stars and admire models? Who do you look at and think they are beautiful? I know what you are saying but it is a difficult thing isn't it when we realize we do like what (some) plastic surgery is capable of? I used to think like you did and I am not saying it is a good change but I am not sure it is always bad - unless it turns out not-so-great.

Your concern is admirable but unless she is your sister, fiancee or wife it is not your say.  Give your opinion if asked and leave it.

You are teaching her this and that with what intent?  You are prying her heart to dump her or to prepare her for you popping the question?

You need to not lead her on if your intentions are not serious.

Be careful.  Check your motives.

if you love her as she is, tell her and ask her to marry you....if you don't be careful.  it is very hard for a man and woman to be 'just' friends.

That's how lebanese people are raised and taught.

I know everybody is like so OMGG she's fake bla bla bla.

But people back home don't think like that.

It's something normal && she will definatly feel better about herself :) there's nothing wrong with plastic surgery .

Plus, being a lebanese women you obliged to be beautiful, and if you look in the mirror and your not confortable with what you see , all the heart, soul etc... is not going to help .

And yes we do have loans in Lebanon.
