ok so this morning as i was getting ready for school...i had a heavy bag full of 3 textbooks in on my left shoulder, and then my regular bag on the other..and then something really freaky happend..RIGHT as i slipped my foot into my shoe..my arm got numb and it shook..you know how when you hit your reflex spot on your knee and it moves..well thats how it felt..i couldnt control it..then i threw my bag on the floor and my arm was all good again...but my left toe was still numb..my mom said it was just because the circulation in my arm was cut off from the heavy bag....so now im home again and i felt my toe to check it..and it is still numb..its not discolored or swollen..and its only my left big toe..i was looking up what it could be..and there was all this stuff on diabetes..but omg i cant have diabetes im stinking 14 years old..its something else right??

  1. Quit freaking out, it could simply be a pinched nerve in your back, or neck.  Ask your mom or dad to take you to a chiropractor, or a regular Doc. By the way though, Diabetes has nothing to do with age, especially if it runs in your family.

  2. Get over it. you will be ok. I have been like you for years and i have made myself miserable for years and i am still here ,i sincerely understand and dont want anyone to feel like this. good luck kid.

  3.   I wouldn't panic! It is likely a pinched nerve that will work it's way out.Gently rotate your arm and leg several times an hour.Warmth on shoulder and toe may help it relax. Not hot though. You should be fine soon.I pulled some tendons that way.Just don't over do or over think it. You will be o.k. Listen to Mom :)
