My left eye is dialated on its own????? please help?

k yesterday i found out that my left eye is dialated on its own and i asked my dad and he was like wait one day and then it should be gone. When i woke up this morning my left eye is still dialated!! and im really scared!!!! should i go to the eye doctor?? is this anything serious??????? why does this happen????? please im really scared., and i hope its nothing serious!!!

You should understand that self doctoring is not advisable when eye is involved.

Please go to an eye specialist  who can advise you in medical terms.

This can indicate a serious problem (think tumor worst case scenario and probably not the most likely explanation), or it could be something more benign (faulty nerves).  There are number of reasons why this may have occurred, but you need to have it checked out by an eye doctor.

Did you hit your head?  If so you need a doctor.  I don't know of any other reason it would happen.

Well, simple things can cause this, and complicated things can cause this. It can be anything in between. The scarey thing is that if it is one of the serious things, time might be an issue, so you should be seen quickly. Look up mydriasis online. That is the medical term for eyes being dilated. See what you can find.
