  1. Advil works much better than tylenol, because it's an anti-inflamatory, so definately take some advil, and drink a lot of water. Then i would stretch, and make sure to stretch every muscle immediately after practice, and hold each stretch for 20 to 30 seconds. This will help prevent future and more painful soreness. Also, for immediate pain relief, try using the sport version of (hot) Rub A535.. it works wonders!! and smells like peppermint =p

  2. well stretch a lot! after cross country practice they have us stretch because after working out, doing a sport, ect. theres like some acid  in your mucsles that cause the pain and stretching like gets rid of it because its "squeezed" out. So again, stretch and relax, oh also taking a hot bath or shower works too.

  3. Tylenol wont help, maybe ibuprofen. I played volleyball from 6th grade to my senior year. The only thing that I KNOW will help your sore legs is drinking more water and stretching them out. Always helped me!

  4. yupp, tylonol would work

you could also try soaking your legs in really warm water

or use tiger balm, that helps too

  5. IcyHot. Tylenol or Ibuprofen. And stretch a lot.

Your legs will start loosening up once you start playing, also.

  6. In my experience the best thing for non-severe muscle pain is Ibuprofen (Advil). For a topical solution try IcyHot. This is just my personal experience/preference.

  7. If you stretched before and after practice. You would not be sore as severely as you are now. Remember to always stretch.
