a little history on me, i'm a 19 year old female who smokes, i have a bee allergy but no other known allergies. i've been up for over twenty four hours and i had a five hour energy drink at about 4 this morning, about two or three hours later i was sitting down and my leg started shaking really badly and painfully, the pain kept getting worse and worse and was almost unbearable, my friend tried to massage it to help me but it only hurt worse and the shaking didn't ease up at all, i tried elevating it and it did eventually stop after 45 minutes to an hour. it was fine again for a few more hours then it started shaking again, not as bad and at first not painfully, now it's been shaking for hours and it's starting to hurt again, but it's not as bad as this morning, the shaking or the pain.

  1. haha that sucks.

  2. Get some sleep, is the obvious answer. But as far as I can tell it's just a muscle cramp. It happens when your muscles either don't get enough exercise, or they get too much exercise with little oxygen.

I'd say that since you've been up for a while, and you drank an energy drink; that your muscles are getting tired of not being able to sleep.

If I was in your position, I'd try to go to sleep as soon as possible; and if you can't fall asleep after about an hour or so, then try taking a pain pill or something.

  3. You seem to be strung up if you know what I mean, relax, give up stimulating drinks (anything with caffeine etc.) and get some quality sleep.  Remember your body is your transport if you look

after it, it will last forever.

To sum up.  Relax in the true sense of the word.  Get some quality sleep and DO NOT WORRY Good Luck and Good Health. P.S. I know this is on your mind Cigarettes! don't you know you would not be writing in if you didn't smoke, I gave them up and I promise you life is really good for the first time in a long time.
