  1. No, I would not re pot it now. Tape it together and wait until the lemons are full grown or fall off.

  2. If you are going to re pot your lemon tree have the pot ready with the soil or wrap its roots in burlap so that the air does not hit the roots and dry your tree. and go ahead and replant it might look wilted for a couple of days but, continue to care for it as you have been.

  3. if the crack is very large repot, but in a very similar sized pot so you dont have to add or remove any soil.

also you can put your broken pot in a larger pot os if it beaks more it wont be as bad.

if you can repot without adding or subtrating too much soil then go for it, but it is best to wait till winter

  4. no I do not think that u need 2 have a pot because the roots can easly be plased in2 a clear plastick rap and then tie it shut but leave it open a little bit so that u can quick put water in2 it and then now u shut it.

  5. Hmmmm, a bit of a conundrum really.

Lemons take around 6 months to form & ripen.

The problem with a cracked pot is that you may not be able to get it to hold water, it's likely to start running out taking the potting mix with it. If you can't keep your lemon appropriately watered it will drop the fruit to stay alive.

    That's a definite.

If you re-pot it, carefully, there is a chance that it may suffer from shock and as a response drop the fruit.

But that is only a chance. Maybe 50/50 & it depends on how careful you are.

Personally... I would take the chance & re-pot it.
