My leopard gecko just wont eat!?

Question

hi, ive had my gecko for more than a year and he wont eat. he used to have a keen appetite but now just looks the other way to any food. he hasnt eaten in over a week now, but he still appears to have no problems including disease or weight loss. he looks very healthy and active, with a fat tail, but just wont eat anything apart from wax worms, which is not a very good idea for him to live on.

what could anyone recomend?

it could be change temp in his cage... I would take him to the vet if that is not the case

You should look it up on google and then see what food a leopard gecko just can't resist then he will eat it and then slowly start giving him his normal food again and he will probably start to eat his food again.

Take him to the vet. Also check the temperature of his tank.

My leopard gecko won't eat certain foods. I feed him small locusts usually and wax worms as a kind of treat. He won't eat meal worms or hoppers so the best thing is to try him with some other foods! If he's still not eating or shows any signs of illness I would take him to the vets or back to where you bought him from and see if they have any suggestions! Good luck! x

you have to take into account of weather or not your gecko eats live things that move a bit or eat anything dead
