My letter has not arrived yet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I sent a regular letter from my local usps post office on 7/11/08. it is already 7/16/08 and my friend still has not received my letter. Also we both live in california. i made sure i had the right postage. i put the letter in the mailbox that said stamped mail only. please someone one tell me what is going on.

has it arrived yet?

if your letter had a bulky item, was not correctly postaged, ripped/vandalized, or was sent from an older brown mail pickup, it may be a bit slower.

If not, then the USPS is just doing a bad job.

Your letter could have been lost or laying somewhere on the ground. That doesn't happen a lot but sometimes it does. Best thing to do is to complain/ ask what's going on to the post office. All we can do here is guess
