My lg choc. phone works but the screen doesn't work how much work it cost if i want to a verizon dealer?

How long have you had the phone?  If you've had it less than a year, it will still be covered under Verizon's warranty-- meaning it will be free.

If you've had it longer than a year... I'm not sure.

With verizon service your phone is automatically under warranty for one year from the date you purchased the phone. If you take your phone in to any verizon wireless store, (not the kiosks in the mall) they will be able to replace it right then and there. You sound like you are having a technical problem with it, if it's an external damage that caused it however, they won't replace it. They cover any problem with the hardware. So if you check the back under the battery and there is no water damage then take it in and they will replace for free that day. You won't have to wait for one to come in the mail.
